Research Publication Awards

In 2023, the IoE introduced the Research Publication Award as a strategic initiative aimed at motivating university researchers to disseminate their high-quality research findings through prestigious, high-impact academic journals. This move seeks to elevate the standard of scientific inquiry and output among the academic community. To incentivize the researchers, the IoE offers a monetary award ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 500,000. The eligibility for this award is determined by the publication of the researcher’s work in international journals that are ranked within the top 30% of Q1 journals, based on the Scopus CiteScore metrics. This criterion ensures that only research published in the most reputable and influential journals is recognized and rewarded, thereby fostering a culture of excellence and high-quality research within the university.

As of now, 48 research papers have been chosen for the Research Publication Awards, and a total of Rs. 44,07,244 has been granted. These awards have been distributed among four categories as follows:

Category A (Rs. 5 lakh) – 04 papers;

Category B (Rs. 2 lakh) – 08 papers;

Category C (Rs. 1 lakh) – 25 papers; and

Category D (Rs. 0.5 lakh) – 11 papers.
